 ICC Intelligent Charge Control
All NiteFLUX lights come with premium quality Li-Ion
batteries that incorporate a unique proprietary protection circuit
module. This module greatly enhances battery life by precisely
managing power input, temperature sensing and individual cell
monitoring/balancing, ensuring hassle-free AAA Gold standard charge
control for every recharge. ICC technology also allows for 'Piggy Back'
fast charging, reducing charge time to 2 hours on all models. Using 2
x NF power supplies and our unique 'Y-Cord' you can recharge your
battery twice as fast - perfect for Enduro racing!

 Low Battery Protection
A low battery warning is indicated by a quick 'flash' of
the headlights. The frequency of 'flashes' increases as the battery
nears empty. The Brain will switch the headlight off automatically after
the warning period to prevent the battery from excessive discharge.
Approximately 10% of the batteries charge capacity is kept in reserve
to ensure the battery always has some power, this keeps the battery
alive and happy, and greatly improves battery life.

 High Intensity LED's
Our LED's deliver more lumens (light) per watt than the
majority of other LED's available today. Our choice of market leading
manufacturers ensures we maintain the highest standards of light
output, lumen maintenance, thermal management and mechanical
ruggedness. This makes our High Intensity LED's the obvious choice
for super reliable everyday lighting.

 Electronic Brain
NiteFLUX Lighting Systems have a Brain (Electronic
Management System). The Brain manages a range of control systems
to optimise lighting performance, prolong battery life and provide the
ultimate in lighting control, these include:
- Constant Watt Technology
- Low Battery Warning
- Discharge Protection
- Lighting Modes
|
 Li-Ion batteries.
Li-Ion batteries are double the capacity and can be half
the weight of NiMH batteries. We optimise this increased battery
performance by using our unique ICC charge management system.
And to ensure the sensitive Li-Ion cells are protected from potential
harsh impacts, all NiteFlux batteries are incased in solid anodized
circular alloy casings.

 Constant Watt Technology
CWT delivers a precise and consistent
amount of power to the lamp or
LED throughout the entire discharge
cycle. No more annoying light fade,
100% light intensity for 90% of the
battery's runtime and 50% intensity
for the final 10% of runtime.

 Forced air cooling
Multiple Hi-Watt LED systems require extensive thermal
management to maintain optimal light output and protect the LED's.
The PMax utilizes a unique 'Forced Air Cooling' design. When
riding, frontal air ducts feed cool air past a series of cast alloy fins (heat
sinks), top and rear vents then exhaust the heated air. This efficiently
moves heat away from the LED's. Cooler LED's = Brighter Light.
|
 Multi Stage Heat Sinking
A strategically designed large internal alloy heat sink, in
conjunction with the outer alloy headlight body, provides three levels
of stepped heat sinking. This draws heat quickly and effectively away
from the LED, ensuring it maintains an optimal running temperature,
even at higher wattages. Cooler LED's = Brighter Light
|
 LED Lens Delivery System.
The cheap and basic reflector designs some brands still
use were an effective method of projecting light at the turn century.
At NiteFLUX we use only cutting edge lens technology. Our specially
made, high performance, optical-grade Polycarbonate Precision Prism
lenses use 'Total Internal Refraction', these lenses are close to 100%
efficient and ensure the light beam is always focused and intense.
|
 Temperature Sensor
An in-built temperature sensor monitors heat levels at
the main heat sink wall and constantly relays this information to the
Brain. If temperatures get too high, the Brain powers down the LED's,
protecting them from heat damage.
|
 Quality Construction
All NiteFLUX lights share a solid alloy construction with
premium anodized finishes for the ultimate in durability and heat
dispersion. Our process of innovative electronics and industrial design,
in combination with exhaustive research and testing, results in high
performance components that last.
|
 Charge Status
Charge status is shown by an LED indicator in the cap of
the battery. This indicator illuminates during the charge cycle.
- Orange while charging
- Green when charged
|
 Race Mode
NiteFLUX lights have a lot of different power modes including flashing. If you don't have time to scroll through them all (for example when racing) use race mode to choose your two favourites and quickly toggle between these two. You can even choose to just toggle between high beam and off.
It couldn't be simpler.
|
 Economy Mode
NiteFLUX lights already offer a range of power modes allowing long runtimes but if you are going on a very long trip you can use economy mode to force your light to half its usual power thereby doubling the runtimes in all modes.
